MVLL outslugs Washington in 5 - 3 Loss

Mountain View Little League lost 5-3 in seven innings at Ontario, CA on Sunday, despite outhitting Washington nine to five.

Mountain View Little League was paced by the production of Michael Salazar, who reached base three times. Salazar singled in the first and seventh innings.

Matt Nutting had a strong game at the plate for Washington. Nutting went 2-4 and scored one run. Nutting tripled in the third inning and singled in the sixth inning.

Riley Baker recorded the win for Washington. He allowed one run over one inning. The Washington pitcher struck out none, walked one and surrendered two hits.

Thomas Wright was strong on the mound, as he threw strikes on 53 of his 85 pitches. Wright struck out seven and walked three for Mountain View Little League .
